Literature has provided the source material for reflection on what it means to be human, and has evolved into film, a rich medium which engages more of our senses. Films touch on a whole spectrum of topics, coming from all over the world and opening up a window to see what makes people different, yet also the same. This provides us with a better understanding of each other, and has impacted the world in breaking down the barriers between us.

With experienced Hollywood producers on the Movie Investor team, we have a deep understanding of how to get movies made from the ground up. Having been in the industry for decades with an impressive slate of movies produced, we know what information investors look for to make their decision. On the flip side, we understand the industry and are constantly immersed in the changing market, allowing us to give sound investment advice such as movie genre and topic trends and actor / film crew track record trends, particularly for independent films.
I spend 5 percent of my time making movies and the other 95 percent of the time looking for the money to make them.

Movie Investor provides extensive resources for filmmakers and investors to streamline the film investment process. Contracts, agreements, templates for a single purpose entity (SPE) and other documents are readily available for download from our website. Continual updates on the industry, news, press, covering movies investment and general film industry are also displayed within the relevant sections.
In addition, we provide accurate, real-time data on movies, such as domestic and worldwide box-office data, budgets and awards. Our team of industry experts use this data to provide investment recommendations.
With that data, graphical charts and historical comparisons can be made to help potential investors make highly informed investment decisions with confidence. Should alternate data be requested, our team will be happy to provide it.

As of October 2015, the SEC approved Title III of JOBS Act, allowing non-accredited investors, further increasing the pool of potential investors.
At Movie Investor, we strive to provide a modern easy-to-use platform to connect passionate filmmakers and visionary investors to help ideas come to life. This is just the start, and our plan is a long-term one, to integrate online script writing collaboration, real-time chat and collaboration between movie crew members and investors, and donation-based funding, to name a few.
